Take an amazing sailing Nile cruise trip from Aswan to Luxor for 2-nights with visit to the fabulous temples between Luxor and Aswan and the Great temples of Abu Simbel 285 km south of Aswan. Experience the life trip hot air balloon over Luxor sky. Feast on buffet lunches, dinners, and breakfasts on board a 5-star ship. Every few hours, you will get alarm from your Nile Cruise to stop and walk to these huge temples and tombs in Aswan and Luxor to take amazing shots. Enjoy visiting Abu Simbel Temples, Kom Ombo Temple, Edfu Temple, Valley of the kings and Hatshepsut Temple. Enjoy comfortable pickup and drop off at your Aswan and Luxor east bank hotels.

Itinerary

Day 1: Abu Simbel trip (Sharing a group), check in and sailing to Kom Ombo temple

Egypt Gift Tours Licensed Egyptology tour guide will pick you up at the lobby of your hotel around 4 to 4:30 am, for Abu Simbel trip (sharing a group in a bus or minibus), drive for about 4 hours to Abu Simbel Temples.

Visit one of the most impressive places in Egypt; the rock-cut temples of Abu Simbel with their unique design built for King Ramesses 2nd and his beloved Queen Nefertari. Back to Aswan around 2 to 2:30 pm to pick your luggage and transfer to the 5 star cruise to check in and have your lunch.

Around 2:30 pm, the cruise will start sailing heading to Kom Ombo. Arrive at Kom Ombo city where to visit the dual temple of Sobek, the crocodile God and Horus, the falcon God. Back to the cruise and have dinner. Continue sailing to Edfu for overnight.

Note: The cruise options for Mondays and Fridays start sailing to Kom Ombo in the early morning of day 2 around 5 am. We will do all the excursions mentioned in the itinerary but in different order according to the cruise schedule.

Accommodation: Overnight in Edfu.

Day 2: Edfu temple and arrive Luxor

Start the tour around 6 am and experience Horse Carriage ride with your tour guide to visit the temple of Horus at Edfu which is considered to be the most complete and the best preserved of all the Egyptian temples. Return to the cruise to have your breakfast and sailing.

Relax on deck watching the unique landscape and admire the beautiful scenery of the Nile river while sailing to Luxor. Cross Esna Lock. Lunch on board. Afternoon tea on sundeck.

Late in the afternoon, arrive at your cruise dock in Luxor. Dinner on board and belly dancing show. Overnight in Luxor

Day 3: Hot Air Balloon Ride, Luxor West Bank Tour and Departure transfer

Begin around 5:00 to 5:30 am (available to change) pick up for the incredible trip of 30 to 40 minutes Hot Air Balloon flight over the west bank of Luxor and enjoy an aerial view of the country’s landscape and famous landmarks. Enjoy the sun illuminating the sky of the open air museum city (Luxor) over the great temples and mountains below.

Breakfast and check out to start your unforgettable day by driving to the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, where the pharaohs from the new kingdom carved their tombs in the mountains aiming to hide their treasure and protect their mummies.

Then to the Mortuary temple of the famous queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari, discover her beautiful temple and her attractive story with her nephew.

End your tour in the West Bank by a photo stop in front of the gigantic statues of Memnon. Lunch time in a local restaurant (optional). (it is available to add the optional tour to The East Bank to visit Karnak temple and Luxor temple with extra charge).
Transfer to Luxor east bank hotel, Airport or Railway station.

  • If the Abu Simbel trip cancelled due to bad weather, you will be refunded with 30$ USD per person.
  • If the Hot Air Balloon trip has been cancelled due to bad weather you will be refunded with 30$ USD per person.

  • If your traveling in a group and wanted to have your own room, then do a separate booking for a single person.
  • We pick Travelers from Aswan hotels (east bank side).
  • If your hotel is located on Elephantine Island or Aswan west bank, so you need to arrange crossing to the city side, where we can pick you up.
  • It is available to pick travelers from Aswan west bank hotels with extra 10$ USD per person.
  • It is available to drop off travelers at their hotels in Luxor west bank with extra 10$ USD per person.
  • Passports copies are required for the cruise line company, Abu Simbel and hot air balloon trip permissions.
  • Your passport copy is required after booking for a government permission before the travel date.
