You’ll start in Luxor, where you’ll see the Valley of the Kings, the Colossi of Memnon, Karnak and Luxor Temples before sailing on towards Aswan to see the Philae Temple and High Dam. You’ll even get to stop at the Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples along the way. Experience the exciting trip of the Hot Air Balloon in Luxor. Discover one of the most impressive temples in Egypt by visiting Abu Simbel 285 km south of Aswan. All transfers, pickup and drop off at your destination in Luxor are included but entrance fees not included.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Transfer to Nile Cruise and free afternoon

Our representative will meet and assist you at Luxor Airport, Railway station or Hotel to be transferred by A/C van to your 5 stars Nile Cruise to check in before lunch. Have lunch on board. Free afternoon, you can add the optional tour to the Sound and light show or the city tour with extra charge.

Meals included: lunch and dinner.

Accommodation: Overnight in Luxor

Day 2: Hot Air Balloon, Luxor West Bank Tour and Navigation

Begin around 5:00 am pick up for the incredible trip of 30 to 45 minutes Hot Air Balloon flight over the west bank of Luxor and enjoy an aerial view of the country’s landscape and famous landmarks. Enjoy the sunrise illuminating the sky of the open air museum city (Luxor) over the great temples and mountains below.

Have breakfast and start your remarkable day by driving to the West Bank to explore the Theban Necropolis by visiting the Valley of the Kings, where the pharaohs from the New kingdom carved their tombs in the mountains aiming to hide their treasure and protect their mummies. Continue, to the Mortuary temple of the famous queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari. End your tour in the West Bank by a photo stop in front of the gigantic statues of Memnon. Return back to the Cruise by noon to have your lunch. Start sailing down the River Nile, afternoon tea on the sundeck. Cross Esna Lock and overnight in Edfu.

Day 3: Edfu Temple and Kom Ombo Temple-Aswan

After your breakfast, enjoy Horse Carriage ride with your tour guide to visit the temple of Horus at Edfu which is considered to be the most complete and the best preserved of all the Egyptian temples. Back to the cruise. Relax on the deck watching the unique landscape and admire the scenery of the Nile river while sailing to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board. Afternoon tea on the sundeck. Late in the afternoon, stop at Kom Ombo city where to visit the unique double temple of Sobek, the crocodile God and Horus, the falcon God. Return to the cruise and have dinner followed by folkloric party operated by the cruise staff and tour guides. Continue sailing to Aswan for overnight.

Day 4: Aswan Tour (Philae Temple and High Dam) 

Take your breakfast, and discover with your guide the highlights of Aswan and listen to the story of the Nubian immigration. Start your tour by visiting the High Dam; achieved in 1960 to protect Egypt from the flood and generate electric. Proceed to visit the Graeco Roman Temple dedicated to goddess Isis using a small motorboat to get there. Free afternoon.

Overnight in Aswan.

Meals included: breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Accommodation: Overnight in Aswan.

Day 5: Abu Simbel Trip (Sharing a small group)

Around 4 to 4:30, your guide will pick you up for Abu Simbel trip(sharing a small group), to visit one of  the most impressive places in Egypt; the rock-cut temples of Abu Simbel with their unique design built for King Ramesses 2nd and his beloved Queen Nefertari. Drive in comfort back to Aswan. Arrive Aswan around 2:30 pm to have your lunch and free afternoon.

Meals Included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Accommodation: Overnight in Aswan. 

Day 6: Free Day at your Leisure and Sailing to Kom Ombo 

You will have the chance to add the optional tour to the Nubian Village in your free morning.

The boat will start the navigation around 2 to 2:30 pm. Enjoy the beautiful Nile Valley scenery and the real Egyptian life from the deck of your Cruise ship while sailing back to Luxor.

Enjoy tea time on the sundeck while sailing to Kom Ombo.

Other Travelers who board the cruise from Aswan will stop at Kom Ombo temple this evening. Then continue sailing to Edfu for Overnight.

Meals included: breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Accommodation: Overnight in Efu.

Day 7: Pass Esna lock and arrive Luxor 

Some of the travelers who board the cruise will stop at Edfu temple. Then, sailing to Esna and pass Esna Lock.

Enjoy tea time on the sundeck while sailing to Luxor.

The boat will arrive Luxor dock, late in the afternoon.

Free evening.

Meals included: breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Accommodation: Overnight in Luxor.

Day 8: Luxor East Bank tour and Departure Transfer

Have your breakfast and check out at 8 am. Then, start your tour by visiting the largest temple ever: Karnak temple built through 2000 years, covering an area of about 63 acres.

Proceed to visit Luxor temple, where ancient Egyptian, Christian, and Islamic features are exhibited. Admire its obelisk and statues.

Finally, transfer to your final destination in Luxor (Airport, train station or Hotel in the East bank)
