Proceed to Saqqara, located only 27 km southwest away from Cairo. Visit the Step Pyramid (Built for King Zoser), the world’s oldest major stone structure, in Saqqara, it is considered an important part of the pyramid evolution, which were made from the simple mastaba to its widely known form. This pyramid was built during the reign of the Third Dynasty of Ancient Egypt 4,800 years ago. Day 2: Egyptian Museum, Cairo Citadel and Coptic Cairo

Pick up at 8 am, then drive towards the Egyptian Museum of antiquities, home to the fantastic Tutankhamun exhibit, see his golden mask and many of the New Kingdom royal mummies, lose yourself in the many rooms and galleries full of thousands of artifacts.

Continue to the Citadel of Salah El Din, built on famous hill AlMoqattam in Cairo, that was constructed for military purposes, for protecting Cairo from incoming threats.
