Explore Luxor’s iconic monuments in a day; including the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, Colossi of Memnon and Karnak Temple. Avoid busy public transport and enjoy a private door-to-door transportation from the Red Sea Resorts of Hurghada, El Gouna, Soma or Makadi Bay and guided tour of millennia-year-old temples. A tasty lunch is included in between visits at a local restaurant but beverages are not included

Itinerary

Egypt Gift Tours representative will pick you up from your hotel at Hurghada, El Gouna, Soma or Makadi Bay around 5 am (available to change). Drive on the high-way to Luxor for approx. 4 hours.

Arrive at Luxor to join your private tour guide at the west bank to start your day by exploring the Valley of the Kings; the burial site of the legendary pharaohs. Learn from your guide about the burial rituals of the kings and know more about the secrets of the paintings and colors. Then, select the best 3 tombs of the open ones to visit by yourself, as no guiding inside the tombs.

Proceed to the temple of the famous Queen Hatshepsut, the only female woman to reign in Ancient Egypt. Listen to her amazing story and how she managed to rule, admire her beautiful unique design temple.

End your tour on the west bank by a photo stop in front of the 17-meters gigantic statues of Memnon, once decorating the largest funeral temple of king Amonhotep III from the New Kingdom. Then, enjoy lunch at a good quality restaurant.

Continue to tour the Karnak Temple, one of the finest examples of a site of worship in history, built through 2000 years,  comprises a vast mix of decayed temples, chapels, pylons, and other buildings and covering an area of 60 acres. Drive in comfort back to your hotel in Hurghada.
