Day 4: Abu Simbel Trip (sharing a group in a bus or mini-bus), Sailing and Kom Ombo Temple
Around 4 to 4:30 am, your guide will pick you up for Abu Simbel trip (sharing a group in a bus or minibus), to visit one of the most impressive places in Egypt; the rock-cut temples of Abu Simbel with their unique design built for King Ramesses 2nd and his beloved Queen Nefertari. meet your guide who will be waiting for there. enjoy exploring the temples for about 90 minutes, then drive back to Aswan.
Back to the Cruise around 2:30 pm to have your lunch and start sailing heading to Kom Ombo city where to visit the dual temple of Sobek; the crocodile God and Horus; the Falcon God.
Tea time on the sun deck for about 30 minutes (free tea, Nescafe and cake). Arrive Kom Ombo around 5:30 to 6 pm and stop to visit the temple. Back to the cruise and have dinner. Continue sailing to Edfu for overnight.
Note: The cruise options for Sundays and Thursdays start sailing to Kom Ombo in the early morning of day 3 around 5 am. We will do all the excursions mentioned in the itinerary but in different order according to the cruise schedule.

Day 5: Edfu Temple and Arrive Luxor (visit Luxor Temple)
Around 4:30 to 5 am be ready for your tour guide and enjoy Horse Carriage ride to visit the temple of Horus at Edfu which is considered to be the most complete and the best preserved of all the Egyptian temples. Return to the cruise to have breakfast and start sailing. Relax on the deck watching the unique landscape and admire the beautiful scenery of the Nile river while sailing to Luxor.
Lunch on board. Afternoon tea on the sundeck. Passing through the Esna lock to Luxor; built on and around the ancient site of Thebes, and has the greatest concentration of ancient ruins in the Nile Valley, if not the world. Across the Nile lies the City of the Dead, with its mortuary temples and rock carved tombs. To the east stand the Temples of Luxor and Karnak.
Late in the afternoon, arrive at Luxor harbor, to visit Luxor Temple which is in the center of town and is colorfully lit up by night and where ancient Egyptian, Christian and Islamic features are exhibited. Dinner on board and belly dancing show. Overnight in Luxor.
Note: if your arrival at Luxor dock by 3:00 or 3:30 pm, then we have chance to visit both Karnak and Luxor Temples, but if it arrives a bit later, we will visit only Luxor temple.
Note: this evening you can add the optional Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temple.

Day 6: Luxor West Bank, Karnak Temple Tour and Fly back to Cairo
Breakfast and check out at 8 am to start your remarkable day by driving to the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, where the pharaohs from the new kingdom carved their tombs in the mountains aiming to hide their treasure and protect their mummies.
Then to the Mortuary temple of the famous queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari. End your tour in the West Bank by a photo stop in front of the gigantic statues of Memnon. Lunchtime in a local restaurant (optional).
Then to visit the massive temple of Karnak. It was linked to the town of Luxor by a long sphinx lined avenue. Inside the large courtyard are three temples. The much photographed Hypo-style Hall has an impressive 134 towering columns, each is carved with scenes of gods and pharaohs, and hieroglyphic inscriptions cover the walls.
Then, to Luxor Airport to take your evening flight back to Cairo, met and transfer to your hotel in Cairo or Giza for an overnight.

Day 7: Day Tour to Cairo Citadel, Coptic Cairo and Khan El Khalili Bazaar
Egypt Gift Tours Egyptology guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza on time. Drive to Old Cairo that is also known as Christian Coptic Cairo which is among the most important locations visited by the Holy Family; where the spiritual impact of their presence is still felt. The first stop will be the Hanging Church, named for its location above a gatehouse of Babylon Fortress, which is one of the oldest churches in the world.
Then you will get inside the Synagogue of Ben Ezra, where you will know more about the birth of Moses and Hebrew Culture and tradition.
Enter the Church of Abu Sergah (St. Sergious), the whole area of the Fort of Babylon, a destination of pilgrimage not only for the Egyptians but for Christians from around the world. Also there you will have a chance to visit St. Barbara Church.
Continue, towards the Citadel of Salah El Din, built on famous hill Al Moqattam in Cairo, that was constructed for military purposes, for protecting Cairo from incoming threats. Since then, it became a residence of the king of Egypt for many centuries. Step inside the beautiful Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali; built inside the castle in the 19th century. Take special photos from the Citadel panorama. Political event called “Massacre of the Citadel” happened in the Citadel in 1811, where Mohamed Ali, the ruler of Egypt (1805-1849) murdered Mameluke leaders in Qaser El Gawhara palace, and it’s not currently opened for visits.
Cairo’s Khan al-Khalili Bazaar is a major souq in the historic center of Cairo, Egypt. The bazaar district is one of Cairo’s main attractions for tourists and Egyptians alike. It is an essential Egyptian experience – lose yourself in the colors and aromas of this fascinating marketplace.
Finally you will be transferred back to your hotel in Cairo or Giza for an overnight.

Day 8: Egyptian Museum, National Museum of Egyptian Civilization NMEC (Optional) and Departure Transfer
This morning have your breakfast and check out around 8 am, then meet your guide to start your day tour (optional with extra charge) to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities and National Museum of Egyptian Civilization NMEC.
Drive Back in comfort to Cairo Airport to take your flight back home according to your flight schedule or if you can add extra nights to your time in Cairo, then you have a chance to join any other optional sightseeing tours to Alexandria from Cairo or an overnight White and black desert.
