Itinerary:

Day 1: Cairo Arrival Transfer and Overnight at Cairo or Giza hotel 

Welcome to Egypt’s capital! Once you arrive at Cairo airport, (please, provide us with your arrival flight details; flight number, airline and arrival time), finish your arrival procedures and pick your luggage, then go outside through the exit door where you will find our driver waiting for you outside the exit gate holding a sign with your name and transfer you to your hotel in Cairo or Giza, then the rest of the day is free at your leisure. If your flight lands early, then you could take a first look at the pyramids with an amazing sound and light show (optional), or perhaps head into downtown Cairo for a Nile dinner cruise and show (optional).

Day 2: Visit The Great Pyramids, Sphinx and Grand Egyptian Museum

This morning have your breakfast to start your unforgettable day tour of the pyramids at Giza and Grand Egyptian Museum around 8 am. Arrive at Giza Plateau to explore the world famous pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, Myrcenes and Sphinx; these structures that have stood tall for 4500 years. Discover the beauty of the Sphinx, one of the largest monolith statues in the history of mankind. Enjoy the views and take remarkable pictures. You’ll find your local Egyptology guide a wealth of knowledge and full of enthusiasm about Egyptian history, and their country in general.

Continue to the Great Sphinx, admire the beauty of the Sphinx with its lion’s body and human head, which dates from the time of Chephren, then visit the Valley Temple, a mortuary temple carved from massive blocks of pink Aswan granite, with smooth, alabaster floors.

Stop for lunch break (optional) then, step into the awe-inspiring Grand Egyptian Museum, where 5,000 years of history come to life beneath the golden light of Giza. As you walk through its vast galleries, the treasures of ancient Egypt unfold before you — colossal statues of pharaohs, intricate jewelry, and the full collection of Tutankhamun’s tomb displayed together for the first time. Through glass walls, the pyramids rise majestically in the distance, connecting past and present in one breathtaking view. Each hall tells a story of power, faith, and artistry, immersing you in the splendor of one of humanity’s greatest civilizations.

At the end of the day, you will be transferred to your hotel in Cairo or Giza for overnight.

Day 3: Cairo Airport Transfer, Arrive Aswan and Aswan Tour

This morning, pick your breakfast boxes at the hotel reception and our driver will pick you up at the lobby your hotel around 4 to 4:30 am (subject to your flight schedule) to transfer you to Cairo Airport to catch your morning flight from Cairo to Aswan or Luxor.

Note, you will need to use the provided domestic flight tickets sent to you via WhatsApp or email to check in and get your boarding card/pass upon arrival at Cairo Airport. Once you arrive at Aswan airport, pick your luggage and go outside through the exit door, where our licensed tour guide will meet and assist you at Aswan Airport to be transferred by A/C car to your 5 stars Nile Cruise to check in before lunch. Have lunch on board.

Then, start your tour by visiting the High Dam; achieved in 1960 to protect Egypt from the flood and generate electric. Proceed to visit the Greco Roman Temple dedicated to goddess Isis using a small motorboat to get there. Later on, return back to your cruise for dinner, folkloric show, and Overnight in Aswan

Note: If your arrival to Aswan is so early, so we might start the tour directly upon arrival since the cruise check-in time at 12:00 and we don’t want our guest to waste their time waiting at the lobby for check-in.

Day 4: Abu Simbel Trip (sharing a group in a bus or mini-bus), Sailing and Kom Ombo Temple

Around 4 to 4:30 am, your guide will pick you up for Abu Simbel trip (sharing a group in a bus or minibus), to visit one of the most impressive places in Egypt; the rock-cut temples of Abu Simbel with their unique design built for King Ramesses 2nd and his beloved Queen Nefertari. meet your guide who will be waiting for there. enjoy exploring the temples for about 90 minutes, then drive back to Aswan.

Back to the Cruise around 2:30 pm to have your lunch and start sailing heading to Kom Ombo city where to visit the dual temple of Sobek; the crocodile God and Horus; the Falcon God.

Tea time on the sun deck for about 30 minutes (free tea, Nescafe and cake). Arrive Kom Ombo around 5:30 to 6 pm and stop to visit the temple. Back to the cruise and have dinner. Continue sailing to Edfu for overnight.

Note: The cruise options for Sundays and Thursdays start sailing to Kom Ombo in the early morning of day 3 around 5 am. We will do all the excursions mentioned in the itinerary but in different order according to the cruise schedule.

Accommodation: Overnight at Edfu on board the cruise.

Day 5: Edfu Temple and Arrive Luxor (visit Luxor Temple)

Around 4:30 to 5 am be ready for your tour guide and enjoy Horse Carriage ride to visit the temple of Horus at Edfu which is considered to be the most complete and the best preserved of all the Egyptian temples. Return to the cruise to have breakfast and start sailing. Relax on the deck watching the unique landscape and admire the beautiful scenery of the Nile river while sailing to Luxor.

Lunch on board. Afternoon tea on the sundeck. Passing through the Esna lock to Luxor; built on and around the ancient site of Thebes, and has the greatest concentration of ancient ruins in the Nile Valley, if not the world. Across the Nile lies the City of the Dead, with its mortuary temples and rock carved tombs. To the east stand the Temples of Luxor and Karnak.

Late in the afternoon, arrive at Luxor harbor, to visit Luxor Temple which is in the center of town and is colorfully lit up by night and where ancient Egyptian, Christian and Islamic features are exhibited. Dinner on board and belly dancing show. Overnight in Luxor.

Note: if your arrival at Luxor dock by 3:00 or 3:30 pm, then we have chance to visit both Karnak and Luxor Temples, but if it arrives a bit later, we will visit only Luxor temple.

Note: this evening you can add the optional Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temple.

Day 6: Luxor West Bank, Karnak Temple Tour and Fly back to Cairo

Breakfast and check out at 8 am to start your remarkable day by driving to the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, where the pharaohs from the new kingdom carved their tombs in the mountains aiming to hide their treasure and protect their mummies.

Then to the Mortuary temple of the famous queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari. End your tour in the West Bank by a photo stop in front of the gigantic statues of Memnon. Lunchtime in a local restaurant (optional).

Then to visit the massive temple of Karnak. It was linked to the town of Luxor by a long sphinx lined avenue. Inside the large courtyard are three temples. The much photographed Hypo-style Hall has an impressive 134 towering columns, each is carved with scenes of gods and pharaohs, and hieroglyphic inscriptions cover the walls.

Then, to Luxor Airport to take your evening flight back to Cairo, met and transfer to your hotel in Cairo or Giza for an overnight.

Day 7: Day Tour to Cairo Citadel, Coptic Cairo and Khan El Khalili Bazaar

Egypt Gift Tours Egyptology guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza on time. Drive to Old Cairo that is also known as Christian Coptic Cairo which is among the most important locations visited by the Holy Family; where the spiritual impact of their presence is still felt. The first stop will be the Hanging Church, named for its location above a gatehouse of Babylon Fortress, which is one of the oldest churches in the world.

Then you will get inside the Synagogue of Ben Ezra, where you will know more about the birth of Moses and Hebrew Culture and tradition.

Enter the Church of Abu Sergah (St. Sergious), the whole area of the Fort of Babylon, a destination of pilgrimage not only for the Egyptians but for Christians from around the world. Also there you will have a chance to visit St. Barbara Church.

Continue, towards the Citadel of Salah El Din, built on famous hill Al Moqattam in Cairo, that was constructed for military purposes, for protecting Cairo from incoming threats. Since then, it became a residence of the king of Egypt for many centuries. Step inside the beautiful Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali; built inside the castle in the 19th century. Take special photos from the Citadel panorama. Political event called “Massacre of the Citadel” happened in the Citadel in 1811, where Mohamed Ali, the ruler of Egypt (1805-1849) murdered Mameluke leaders in Qaser El Gawhara palace, and it’s not currently opened for visits.

Cairo’s Khan al-Khalili Bazaar is a major souq in the historic center of Cairo, Egypt. The bazaar district is one of Cairo’s main attractions for tourists and Egyptians alike. It is an essential Egyptian experience – lose yourself in the colors and aromas of this fascinating marketplace.

Finally you will be transferred back to your hotel in Cairo or Giza for an overnight.

Day 8: Egyptian Museum, National Museum of Egyptian Civilization NMEC (Optional) and Departure Transfer

This morning have your breakfast and check out around 8 am, then meet your guide to start your day tour (optional with extra charge) to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities and National Museum of Egyptian Civilization NMEC.

Drive Back in comfort to Cairo Airport to take your flight back home according to your flight schedule or if you can add extra nights to your time in Cairo, then you have a chance to join any other optional sightseeing tours to Alexandria from Cairo or an overnight White and black desert.

Meal included: breakfast at the hotel.

Payment Method: You can pay a deposit of 20 to 25% online by card +3% for the bank transaction fees and remaining amount cash upon arrival or online payment. 
 
Cancelation Policy: We are very flexible with urgent circumstances up to 14 days before travel date except for the domestic flight tickets are subject to the airline cancelation fees. Less than 14 to 7 days with 25% cancelation fees from the tour price. Starting from 7 to 4 days before travel date applies 50% from the total tour price. 48 hours without any refund.
