Itinerary:
Egypt Gift Tours licensed Egyptology tour guide will pick you up from your Aswan hotel or Nile cruise around 6 am (available to change) in a private air-conditioned car. We will drive you north of Aswan for about One hour; pass by local villages, enjoy the views of the Nile River all the way to Kom Ombo. In the way, your guide will give you general information about your day tour.
Arrive at Kom Ombo temple to visit the unusual double temple built on the honor of the two deities, Sobek; the crocodile god and Horus; the falcon god. Enjoy the scene of the ancient Egyptian calendar and the and the relief of the Medical Instruments on its walls. Don’t miss the crocodile museum in your way out to see dozens of mummified crocodiles
Proceed driving north for about two hours to Edfu to visit the majestic temple of the god Horus; built during the Ptolemaic Period, located on the west bank of the River Nile, which considered to be the most complete and the best preserved of all the Egyptian temple
Travel in comfort back to your Hotel in Aswan or continue to Luxor for drop off.
