Enjoy watching the beautiful Nile Valley scenery and the real Egyptian life. Explore the highlights of the sightseeing in Luxor and Aswan, stop en the route to visit the pharaonic sites of interest such as; Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples. Experience the exciting trip of the Hot Air Balloon in Luxor. Discover one of the most impressive temples in Egypt by visiting Abu Simbel 285 km south of Aswan. Have fun and enjoy plenty of night entertainments of the belly dancing show, galabiya party, Nubian show or disco and more in 4 days/3 nights Nile Cruise every Saturday, Monday or Thursday from Luxor to Aswan. Itinerary

Day 1: Cairo transfer and Overnight Sitting Train from Cairo to Luxor

Egypt Gift Tours representative will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza around 6:30 PM to transfer to the train station to take your evening first class sitting train to Luxor. (the train takes about 10 to 12 hours).

Meals included:No meals included.

Accommodation: Overnight sitting train from Cairo to Luxor.

Day 2: Transfer to Nile Cruise and Luxor East Bank

Our licensed tour guide will meet and assist you at Luxor railway station to be transferred by A/C van to your 5 stars Nile Cruise to check in before lunch. Have lunch on board. Then, start your tour by visiting the largest temple ever: Karnak temple built through 2000 years, covering an area of about 63 acres. Proceed to visit Luxor temple, where ancient Egyptian, Christian, and Islamic features are exhibited. Admire its obelisk and statues. Back to the cruise, dinner on board and overnight in Luxor.

Note: If your arrival to Aswan is so early, so we will start the tour direct upon arrival since the cruise check-in time at 12:00 and we don’t want our guest to waste their time waiting at the lobby for check-in.

Day 3: Balloon Ride, Luxor West Bank Tour and Navigation

Begin around 4:00 am(available to change) pick up for the incredible trip of 30 to 45 minutes Hot Air Balloon flight over the west bank of Luxor and enjoy an aerial view of the country’s landscape and famous landmarks. Enjoy the sunrise illuminating the sky of the open air museum city(Luxor) over the great temples and mountains below.

Breakfast and start your remarkable day by driving to the West Bank to explore the Theban Necropolis by visiting the Valley of the Kings, where the pharaohs from the New kingdom carved their tombs in the mountains aiming to hide their treasure and protect their mummies. Continue, to the Mortuartemple of the famous queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari. End your tour in the West Bank by a photo stop in front of the gigantic statues of Memnon – two 17-metre-high statues on Luxor’s west bank. Carved from granite blocks, they represent the Pharaoh Amenhotep III and were once part of an impressive colonnade. Return back to the Cruise by noon to have your lunch. Start sailing down the River Nile, afternoon tea on the sundeck. Cross Esna Lock and overnight in Edfu.

Day 4: Edfu Temple and Kom Ombo Temple-Aswan

After your breakfast, enjoy Horse Carriage ride with your tour guide to visit the temple of Horus at Edfu which is considered to be the most complete and the best preserved of all the Egyptian temples. Back to the cruise. Relax on the deck watching the unique landscape and admire the scenery of the Nile river while sailing to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board. Afternoon tea on the sundeck. Late in the afternoon, stop at Kom Ombo city where to visit the unique double temple of Sobek, the crocodile God and Horus, the falcon God. Return to the cruise and have dinner followed by folkloric party operated by the cruise staff and tour guides. Continue sailing to Aswan for overnight.

Day 5: Abu Simbel Trip (Sharing a small group), Aswan Tour and Departure transfer

Check out around 4:30, your guide will pick you up for Abu Simbel trip (sharing a small group), to visit one of  the most impressive places in Egypt; the rock-cut temples of Abu Simbel with their unique design built for King Ramesses 2nd and his beloved Queen Nefertari. Back to the cruise round 1:30 pm to pick your luggage be ready to discover with your guide the highlights of Aswan and listen to the story of the Nubian immigration. Proceed to visit Philae temple; the Graeco Roman Temple dedicated to goddess Isis using a small motorboat to get there. Later on, transfer to Aswan railway station to take your evening train back to Cairo.

Accommodation: Overnight sitting train back to Cairo.

Day 6: Arrive Cairo and drop off transfer to Cairo or Giza hotel 

Once you arrive a Giza or Cairo train station, you will find our driver holding a sign with your name to transfer to your hotel in Cairo or Giza. (please, provide us with your hotel name and address in Cairo or Giza for the drop off transfer)
