Imagine yourself relaxing on the deck of a 5 star Nile Cruise ship sailing down the Nile from Luxor to Aswan, watching the beautiful Nile Valley scenery and the real Egyptian life. Explore the highlights of the sightseeing in Luxor and Aswan, stop en the route to visit the pharaonic sites of interest such as; Edfu and Kom Ombo temples. Have fun and enjoy plenty of night entertainments of the belly dancing show, galabia party, Nubian show or disco and more in 5 days/4 nights Nile Cruise every Saturday, Monday, Thursday from Luxor to Aswan. Full board, check in with lunch, check out with breakfast. Water, drinks and entrance fees on your own expenses.

  • Recommended Arrival time on the first day should be before 12:01 pm. 
  • The tour ends in Aswan on the last day around 1 pm, so evening departure is recommended.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Transfer to the Nile Cruise and Luxor East Bank

Egypt Gift Tours licensed tour guide will meet and assist you at Luxor Airport, Railway station or Hotel to be transferred by A/C car to your 5 stars Nile Cruise to check in before lunch. Have lunch on board.

Then, start your tour by visiting the largest temple ever: Karnak temple built through 2000 years, covering an area of about 63 acres. Listen carefully to the stories and legends to be told by your tour guide. Marvel at the sheer size of the Great Hypo-style Hall, take photos between the huge columns and obelisks.

Proceed to visit Luxor temple, where ancient Egyptian, Christian, and Islamic features are exhibited. Admire its obelisk and statues. Back to the cruise, dinner on board and overnight in Luxor.

Note: If your arrival to Luxor is so early, so we might start the tour directly upon arrival since the cruise check-in time at 12:00 and we don’t want our guest to waste their time waiting at the lobby for check-in.

Day 2: Luxor West Bank Tour and Sailing to Edfu

Breakfast and start your remarkable day by driving to the West Bank to explore the Theban Necropolis by visiting the Valley of the Kings, where the pharaohs from the New kingdom carved their tombs in the mountains aiming to hide their treasure and protect their mummies.

Continue, to the Mortuary temple of the famous queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari, that was renewed and rebuilt by the Polish mission in Egypt since 1960 up till these days. Listen from your guide to her exciting story and how she managed to rule as a sole Pharaoh.

End your tour in the West Bank by a photo stop in front of the gigantic statues of Memnon. Return back to the Cruise by noon to have your lunch. Start sailing down the River Nile, afternoon tea on the sundeck. Cross Esna Lock and overnight in Edfu.

Meals included: breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Accommodation: Overnight in Edfu on board the cruise.

Day 3: Edfu Temple and Kom Ombo Temple-Aswan

After your breakfast, enjoy Horse Carriage ride with your tour guide to visit the temple of Horus at Edfu which is considered to be the most complete and the best preserved of all the Egyptian temples. Back to the cruise. Relax on the deck watching the unique landscape and admire the scenery of the Nile river while sailing to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board. Afternoon tea on the sundeck.

Late in the afternoon, stop at Kom Ombo city where to visit the unique double temple of Sobek, the crocodile God and Horus, the falcon God. Return to the cruise and have dinner followed by folkloric party operated by the cruise staff and tour guides. Continue sailing to Aswan for overnight.

Day 4: Aswan Tour (Philae Temple and High Dam)

After breakfast, discover with your guide the highlights of Aswan and listen to the story of the Nubian immigration. Start your tour by visiting the High Dam; achieved in 1960 to protect Egypt from the flood and generate electric. he Dam provides a huge water reservoir known as Lake Nasser, one of the biggest artificial lakes in the world.

Proceed to visit Philae temple; the Greco Roman Temple dedicated to goddess Isis using a small motorboat to get there. The temple was relocated to its current location by UNESCO after the building of the High Dam in order to prevent its inundation. The island was carefully selected to match the original settings on which the temple was originally built. Enjoy free time to explore the beauty of the temple and its surroundings. Lunch on the cruise. Free afternoon. Dinner on board and Nubian Show. Overnight in Aswan.

Day 5: One-hour Felucca Ride in Aswan and Departure Transfer

Check out after breakfast. Enjoy a trip in nature around Aswan islands using a felucca (a small sailing boat) for one hour.

Finally, transfer to Aswan Airport, train station or Aswan east bank hotel.

Meals included: breakfast.

Accommodation: Not included.
