Private Day Tour to Aswan Highlights and Nubian Village from Luxor by Train

Egypt Gift Tours representative will pick you up from Hotel in Luxor east bank on time, by air-conditioned car to Luxor train station, take the first train heading to Aswan.

Arrive at Aswan train after about 3 hours, meet your guide who will be waiting for you at Aswan train station to start your marvelous day by visiting the High Dam; an epic engineering accomplishment achieved between 1960 and 1970 to protect Egypt from the flood and generate electric. It was largely financed and supervised by the Soviet Union.

Proceed to visit the magnificent Greco Roman Temple of the goddess Isis; the chief deity of the Island and know the love story between Isis and Osiris using a small motorboat to get there.

then, to Aswan’s granite quarries to see the unfinished Obelisk, about 40 meters in length and 1000 tons, which is considered to be the longest and the heaviest obelisk ever cut in Egypt, most probably belongs to the famous queen Hatshepsut.

Continue, down to the Nile to take a motorboat, sailing slowly to enjoy the scenery and views to the Nubian Village on Soheil Island and have a welcome drink in one of the Nubian families’ house, talk to them, know about their customs, walk around the village with your guide.

Then, back to the dock by sunset and take the evening train back to Luxor, to be transferred to your hotel in Luxor east bank.
