This morning, your private guide will pick up you at 8:00 am for a full day tour of the pyramids at Giza and Egyptian Museum. Day 2: Cairo Citadel, Khan Al Khalili and Coptic Cairo 

Pick up at 8 am, then drive towards the Citadel of Salah El Din, built on famous hill Al Moqattam in Cairo, that was constructed for military purposes, for protecting Cairo from incoming threats. Since then, it became a residence of the king of Egypt for many centuries. On this tour, you will visit the beautiful Mohamed Ali known as Alabaster Mosque. Political event called “Massacre of the Citadel” happened in the Citadel in 1811, where Mohamed Ali, the ruler of Egypt (1805-1849) murdered Mameluke leaders in Qaser El Gawhara palace, and it’s not currently opened for visits.

Have lunch at a local restaurant (drinks not included) before exploring some of the most famous churches in Cairo. Travel to the Hanging Church and the Church of St. George the Martyr. Both these churches were built into the walls of the Babylon Fortress and their remains could be Cairo’s oldest structures. Visit the Church of St Sergius next before driving back to your hotel. finally, transfer to your hotel.

Day 3: Alexandria Day Trip from Cairo 

Start with early morning pick-up at 6:30 am for a full day tour to Alexandria from Cairo. Tour Alexandria’s most significant and fascinating spots with your private tour guide.
