Itinerary

Day 1: Cairo Arrival transfer, Great Pyramids, Sphinx and Egyptian Museum

We will start our 2 day package by picking you up at Cairo airport (please, provide your flight details; flight number, airline and arrival time). Our English speaking driver will be waiting for you outside the arrival hall at Cairo airport, holding a sign with your name to transfer you to your hotel in Cairo or Giza.

This morning, your private guide will pick up at your hotel in Cairo or Giza to start your day by visiting the Giza Plateau to explore the world famous pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, Mycrenos and Sphinx; these structures that have stood tall for 4500 years. Discover the beauty of the Sphinx, one of the largest monolith statues in the history of mankind, enjoy the views and take remarkable pictures. You’ll find your local Egyptology guide a wealth of knowledge and full of enthusiasm about Egyptian history, and their country in general. At the end of the day, drive back to your hotel in Cairo or Giza.

Continue to the Egyptian Museum; home to the fantastic Tut Ankh Amon exhibit, see his golden treasures and many of the New Kingdom royal statues, lose yourself in the many rooms and galleries full of thousands of artifacts.

Have lunch at a local restaurant (drinks not included). At the end, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Cairo or Giza.

Day 2: Alexandria Day Trip from Cairo 

Start with early morning pick-up around 7:00 am for a full day tour to Alexandria from Cairo. Tour Alexandria’s most significant and fascinating spots with your private tour guide. Descend into the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, with the beautiful artworks, visit the Roman Theater,  take in views from the 15-century fortifications at the Citadel of Qaitbay. Explore the New Alexandria library at your own pace. Drive Back in comfort to your hotel in Cairo or Giza.

Lunch will be served at a seafood restaurant between visits (drinks not included).

Finally, you will be transferred to Cairo Airport.
