Take an amazing sailing Nile cruise trip from Luxor to Aswan for 2-nights with visit to the fabulous temples between Luxor and Aswan and the Great temples of Abu Simbel 285 km south of Aswan. Feast on buffet lunches, dinners, and breakfasts on board a 5-star ship. Every few hours, you will get alarm from your Nile Cruise to stop and walk to these huge temples and tombs in Luxor and Aswan to take amazing shots. Enjoy visiting Abu Simbel Temples, Kom Ombo Temple, Edfu Temple, Valley of the kings and Hatshepsut Temple. Enjoy comfortable pickup and drop off at your hotel, airport or train station.

Itinerary

Day 1: Luxor West Bank Tour, check in and Navigation

Egypt Gift Tours Egyptology tour guide will pick you up at your Luxor hotel, train station or airport to start your remarkable day by driving to the West Bank to explore the Theban Necropolis by visiting the Valley of the Kings, where the pharaohs from the New kingdom carved their tombs in the mountains aiming to hide their treasure and protect their mummies.

Continue, to the Mortuary temple of the famous queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari.

End your tour in the West Bank by a photo stop in front of the gigantic statues of Memnon – two 17-meter-high statues on Luxor’s west bank. Carved from granite blocks, they represent the Pharaoh Amenhotep III and were once part of an impressive colonnade.

Return back to the Cruise by noon to have your lunch. Start sailing down the River Nile, afternoon tea on the sundeck. Cross Esna Lock and overnight in Edfu.

Meals included: lunch and dinner

Accommodation: Overnight in Edfu.

Day 2: Edfu temple and Kom Ombo Temple-Aswan

After your breakfast, enjoy Horse Carriage ride with your tour guide to visit the temple of Horus at Edfu which is considered to be the most complete and the best preserved of all the Egyptian temples. Back to the cruise. Relax on the deck watching the unique landscape and admire the scenery of the Nile river while sailing to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board. Afternoon tea on the sundeck.

Late in the afternoon, stop at Kom Ombo city where to visit the unique double temple of Sobek, the crocodile God and Horus, the falcon God. Return to the cruise and have dinner followed by folkloric party operated by the cruise staff and tour guides. Continue sailing to Aswan for overnight.

Meals included: breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Accommodation: Overnight in Aswan.

Day 3: Abu Simbel Trip (Sharing a group)

Check out around 4:30, your guide will pick you up for Abu Simbel trip (sharing a group in a bus or minibus), to visit one of  the most impressive places in Egypt; the rock-cut temples of Abu Simbel with their unique design built for King Ramesses 2nd and his beloved Queen Nefertari. back to Aswan around 2:00 to 2:30 pm. Finally, transfer to your final destination in Aswan, either hotel, train station or airport.

Note: it is available to add the optional tour to the Nubian village or Aswan tour to Philae temple and High Dam after the trip to Abu Simbel, with extra charge.
