This morning, your private guide and driver will pick up you for a full day tour of the pyramids at Giza and Saqqara. Start in chronological order, as it were, by visiting the step pyramid of Saqqara; the first capital of ancient Egypt, this is the oldest pyramid in Egypt 4800 B.c.built by King Zoser, before exploring the famous pyramids at Giza;
Stop for lunch break then, continue visiting the Giza Plateau to explore the world famous pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, Mycrenos and Sphinx; these structures that have stood tall for 4500 years. Discover the beauty of the Sphinx, one of the largest monolith statues in the history of mankind. Enjoy the views and take remarkable pictures. You’ll find your local Egyptology guide a wealth of knowledge and full of enthusiasm about Egyptian history, and their country in general.

Day 3: Luxor Full Day Tour and Overnight in Aswan
In the morning check out from your Cairo hotel after breakfast and transfer to the airport for a domestic flight to Luxor (book yourself). Upon arrival, you’ll be met by your guide. Your first destination of the day will be the Valley of the Kings, a famous necropolis that has the tombs of the kings of ancient Egypt. Travel next to the amazing temple of Hatshepsut, who was the first woman to rule over Egypt. This temple was used as a monastery in the Christian era. This is why it is also famous as El Deir Al Bahri, or Northern Monastery’.
Your last stop of the day will be the gigantic Colossi of Memnon. These two, 18 m-high statues are the only remaining items of the temple of Amenhotep III.
After lunch, we’ll visit the massive temple of Karnak complex, part of the ancient city of Thebes. Dedicated to the powerful God Amun, it offers a vast mix of temples, chapels, statues and obelisks. It was linked to the town of Luxor by a long Sphinx lined avenue. The much photographed Hypostyle Hall has an impressive 134 towering columns, each is carved with scenes of gods and pharaohs, and hieroglyphic inscriptions cover the walls.
Proceed, to the smaller Luxor Temple, which is in the center of town. Admire its beautiful Obelisks and Statues of King Ramesses the Great.
Then, you will be transferred to Luxor train-station to take your 6:20 pm First Class Sitting train to Aswan. Arrive at Aswan after about 3 hours, to be met by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel in Aswan for overnight.

Day 4: Abu Simbel, Aswan Tour and Back to Cairo
Around 4:30 am,you will be picked up by an air-conditioned vehicle (sharing a group in a bus or minibus) for your visit to the UNESCO world heritage site of Abu Simbel. This amazing site was completely dismantled and rebuilt when Lake Nasser was flooded. Drive for about 3 hours, to be met by your Egyptology guide; who will escort you to the magnificent temples of Abu Simbel, telling you the stories and the history of the iconic sights of ancient Egypt. Return to Aswan for lunch, then continue sightseeing in Aswan. Visiting the most beautiful temple of Egypt on Philae Island, the Temple of Isis, it was saved from the rising waters of Lake Nasser.
Then, to Aswan Airport to take your evening flight back to Cairo, met and transfer to your hotel for overnight.

Day 5: Egyptian Museum, Old Cairo and Khan Al Khalili
Take your breakfast, then, start your day tour to the Egyptian Museum; home to the fantastic Tutankhamun exhibit, see his golden mask and many of the New Kingdom royal mummies, lose yourself in the many rooms and galleries full of thousands of artifacts.
Have lunch at a local restaurant before exploring some of the most famous churches in Cairo. Travel to the Hanging Church and the Church of St. George the Martyr. Both these churches were built into the walls of the Babylon Fortress and their remains could be Cairo’s oldest structures. Visit the Church of St Sergius next before driving back to your hotel.
